Taking a large step away from the commercial & mainstream nature of many gyms, the heart of Gymbia ethics lies in creating a warm & friendly environment for clients to feel comfortable in while they positively contribute to their happiness & wellbeing through training.

My training philosophy places a large emphasis on taking a holistic approach to the body in order to get the best results whatever the goal may be – weight loss, muscle gain, health improvements being just a few of the aspects I can hep with. I am currently studying at the C.H.E.K. institute & am well on the road to becoming a Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesologist. The body is a complicated system of systems & must be treated in this way. I deal with rehabilitating postural issues to ease any reoccurring aches & pains along with lifestyle assessments & of course physical training in order to bring my clients health to a great place.

Did you know that a potential cause of a weak or inactive core could be linked to digestive problems? The same nerves that serve the digestive organs also serve the core musculature so it is entirely possible that a bad back can be linked to eating foods that don’t agree with your system! Just one example of many of the intrinsic link between every system in the body. In this particular example we would look at your eating habits, identify any potential irritants, remove them, heal the gut lining while conditioning the core with the end result of a flat belly, nice digestive system & an end to the back pain.

I have a private studio gym in Hackney Wick primarily for resistance training & boxing with free weight equipment, a selection of bars, power rack, pads, gloves & martial arts mats for flooring. I like to get outside as much as possible when the weather is good so can meet in a nearby park for cardiovascular & circuit training.

In a world with so many confusing & conflicting messages about what is good & bad for you I am also available to give help & advice with nutrition to make sense of it all & help you on the path to achieving your goals.

I have a keen interest in the psychology of habit development & continuing motivation as I understand very well that sometimes it is not as simple as just following a program – for it to work you need to change & develop thought patterns, associations & habits regarding exercise & nutrition for success. I can provide you with tools that will help you on your journey.

Beginning with a free & comprehensive consultation we will  discuss what you hope to achieve from the program & devise a plan suited to your goals whatever they may be; slimming & toning, muscularity, fitness & wellbeing, knowledge, training for an event or anywhere in between.
